By successfully completing this course, you will:
- Gain skills and knowledge to practice as a Nail Technician – graduates of this course can also obtain professional liability insurance
- Receive the Certificate of Achievement at QLS Level 3*

This course is available on our unique online platform with access to accompanying videos and interactive media to support your theory work. There is essential practical training for this course which you can book when you are ready along with 6 case studies.
Course overview
This course will teach you how to work with Acrylic, Gel and Fibreglass nails, as well as covering disorders, diseases and sanitation measures.
Case Studies
As part of your course you will be required to submit six case studies which will be assessed by your tutor. These will demonstrate your ability to put your studies into practice.

*BSY currently charges £85 per day. For any practical training workshop or assessment organised independently of BSY, BSY shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the workshop or assessment, any fees due will be agreed between you and the assessor.

Prerequisites
It is essential that you hold a qualification in Manicure & Pedicure.

If you are completing our Beauty & Nails Professional bespoke pathway, you will need to study the following courses Beauty Specialist – (A comprehensive introduction to Skincare) plus Manicure and Pedicure (Nailcare Foundation) plus Nail Technician (Application and Aesthetics).
This course is the final part of our Nail Practitioner pathway.
Level
On successful completion of this course you will have received professional training at level 3. This is ideal if you wish to start a practice, or expand a career. Graduates of this course wishing to start their own practice can also obtain professional liability insurance. It has also been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme and graduates will receive the QLS Certificate of Achievement as above. This course has been designed by BSY to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications. The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes.

Having progressed through each lesson you can take your final examination at home, and at a date and time that suits you. Then, on successful completion of both your Practical Training and your final examination, you will be awarded your BSY certificate.
