Course overview
Yoga is a valuable therapy for stress-related ailments in addition to its more traditional role of promoting inner peace and harmony in body and mind. The British School of Yoga is enormously proud of the fact that it has trained more Yoga teachers than any other school, and with the popularity of Yoga there is a greater demand for the well-trained teacher.
Syllabus
Practical training
1 day of Practical Training is essential for this course. Practical workshops can be held in various locations around the UK and are available for an additional fee of £75 per day. Your practical training is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from an experienced practical training tutor with specialist skills. Additional fees apply*.

For any practical training workshop or assessment organised independently of BSY, BSY shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the workshop or assessment, any fees due will be agreed between you and the assessor.
Prerequisites
Previous experience of Yoga is essential.
Level
On successful completion of this course you will have received professional training at level 4. This is ideal if you wish to start a practice, or expand a career. In addition, this course covers the requirements for PTLLS at Level 3. Graduates of this course wishing to start their own practice can also obtain professional liability insurance. It has also been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme and graduates will receive the QLS Certificate of Achievement as above. This course has been designed by BSY to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications. The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes.

At the end of each lesson are a set of questions. Completing these can aid your learning and help you master each step before moving on to the next. Your next lesson will then arrive for you to continue when it suits you. This allows us to continually assess understanding and competence of the subject.
Having progressed through each lesson you can take your final examination at home, and at a date and time that suits you. Then, on successful completion you will be awarded your BSY certificate.
