Course overview

The Sports Industry is now so vast that it covers sports disciplines that were unheard of a few years ago. This increase has given rise to the number of injuries that affect the enthusiast. This course will teach you injury assessment remedial exercises, diagnoses and treatment of injuries. Sports Therapists who can identify, assess and treat sports injuries are in great demand.

Practical training

1 day of Practical Training is essential for this course. For further information please call us on Freephone 0800 731 9271 or 01409 220 400. Your practical training is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from an experienced practical training tutor with specialist skills. Additional fees apply*.

*BSY currently charges £75 per day. For any practical training workshop or assessment organised independently of BSY, BSY shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the workshop or assessment, any fees due will be agreed between you and the assessor.

Level

On successful completion of this course you will have received professional training at level 3. This is ideal if you wish to start a practice, or expand a career.

Certification

On successful completion students will receive dual awards: Award 1- The professional BSY Sports Injuries Diploma and will become a Registered BSY Sports Injuries Practitioner.

Award 2- Certificate of achievement at QLS Level 3 from Quality Licence Scheme. Registration through BSY is essential with this course.

At the end of each lesson are a set of questions. Completing these can aid your learning and help you master each step before moving on to the next. Your next lesson will then arrive for you to continue when it suits you. This allows us to continually assess understanding and competence of the subject.

Having progressed through each lesson you can take your final examination at home, and at a date and time that suits you. Then, on successful completion you will be awarded your BSY certificate.
