This course aims to give you knowledge and understanding to work with individuals with learning disabilities or difficulties. You will explore the principles of safeguarding and positive risk taking and gain awareness of the autistic spectrum.
The objectives of this qualification are to prepare you for employment and to support a role in the workplace where you may work or interact with people with learning disabilities. This is primarily for those within healthcare and social care but may also be useful to those working in education or housing support roles.

Learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
On successful completion of this course you will achieve the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities qualification.
The NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities is a regulated qualification. This means it is a nationally recognised qualification, regulated by Ofqual in England.
This qualification prepares learners for employment and to support a role in the workplace where the individual may work or interact with people with learning disabilities.
This course has a credit value of 17 total credits.
