Course overview
The effect on the family of an individual suffering from an eating disorder can be devastating. There can be little worse than to watch a family member starving or bingeing, yet feeling powerless to help. This course explores the impact of eating disorders within the family unit and offers help and guidance in coping with such a situation.

On successful completion of this course, you have received training designed as either a foundation qualification leading to further studies to attain a practitioner level, or professional development to gain additional skills and knowledge to expand the practice of the existing therapist.
Certification
On successful completion students will receive the following award: The BSY Professional Certificate of Merit in Eating Disorders and the Family Unit.
